A United States National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is section of the United States Department of Energy. It works to enhance national security through the military application of nuclear energy. A NNSA besides maintains & enhances a safety, dependableness, & performance of the United States nuclear weapons stockpile, including the ability to project, garden truck, & line 1 text, sequentially to meet national security requirements.

NNSA has 4 missions by using regard to National Security:

To provide a United States Navy with safe, militarily effectual nuclear propulsion plants & to assure a safe and dependable operation of people plants. To promote international nuclear safety & nonproliferation. To reduce spherical danger from either weapons of mass destruction. To trend lines United States leadership within science and technology.

National Nuclear Security Administration
Quasi-autonomous agency within DOE, established to oversee the nuclear weapons program and related activities.

Office of the Deputy Administrator for Defense Programs
Manages the U.S. nuclear weapons programs at the DOE's National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
